Shuanghe Cave National Geopark

Shuanghe Valley consists of Water Cave, “Karst Doline” (a kind of Karst landform called "naturally formed pit”) and Gypsum Cave.

Water Cave - the rare underground valley which is scoured by huge underground- river currents year in year out and the erosive water-soluble substances in the rock form sinuous and swirly underground valleys of all kinds. The valley is several meters deep, with multiform stone walls of gorgeous texture and structure; the river water is deep and green. All these seem to be the greatest world's art treasures.

“Karst Doline” - The surrounding straight and erect precipices are lush with vegetation. From the top of the Karst Doline”, torrents rush down, s ilver drops splashing sprightly; while at the bottom of it, streams trickle sluggishly; and an extensive inter-growth among the immense native plantain forests, reevesia pubescens and  huge tracts of thorny bamboo groves sketch picturesque scenery.

Gypsum Cave is a typical arid cave with its cavity wide-open. The naturally-formed calcification pools inside the cave are stacked tier upon tier. Viewed from afar, the splendid "Underground Terraces Wonders" look like a “Mirage”.

  The Underground Fracture is named after the only large underground fracture inside caves so far discovered in China.

The scenery inside the cave is divided into three sections. In the first

section, there are all kinds of vivid stalagmites. In the second section, there is the Geofracture. On each side of the Geofracture, the stone walls have exquisite stones of different shapes formed by the washing of Underground River, with high ornamental value. In the third section, scenery inside the arid cave molds the paths through twists and turns which combines the ornamental value with the visual interest.

  The geocentric adventure is a unique popular adventure experience based on the distinctive cave resources of the Shuanghe karst cave. This product is a combination of popular science, adventure, sightseeing and expansion, including SRT Adventure (Redirected from Single Rope Technique), Caving Via Ferrata（or Iron-road) and many other exercise programs.

  The cavity of Hejiao Cave, a favorite year-round resort, with a constant temperature of 16 ℃- 18 ℃, is open and flat. Not far from the cave mouth inside, a natural water-spout pours down from the roof, and its loud brawl adds interest to the cave and increases the content of negative oxygen ions.

The tent camps inside with all-round services can accommodate 400 people

at the same time. The cave bar can provide you with the wine, coffee, a cave movie which makes you be personally on the scene of the blockbuster movie, the lingering ethnic and various performance activities, and SRT technology training inside the cave.It is a place of entertainment that comprehensively exhibits the caving culture.
